BLAST OFF!
Hells yes I'd ride the rocket. Hells yes! Hoenstly, the chance to see outer space?! I would JUMP at the chance. Flippin jump! No day but today! Live like you were dying! TAKE A RISK! If it pays off, then WOW! What a cool thing to remember! If you die, well, bummer that. You can tell people in Heaven, of the next life or whatever, "I died in a SPACESHIP en route to THE MOON!" Yeah I love life, which is why I'd jump at the opportunity. I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life wondering what if.
Only Juliet and Caroline answered my second question; Would you ride the rocket?
HAha, I admit, I am curious.

Sorry Hill, I thought you knew I wasn't riding the rocket!! Go ahead, call me a chicken-baby. I can take it....besides, it's not the 'risk everything' part. I don't have those kinds of desires, never really have.
But, I'M SO GLAD YOU DO!!!!! 'No Day But Today,' indeed!!!
I am so proud of you! *** Who was the other 'Hell yes?' Just curious. And, out of how many?
Oh, I polled my students. 1: "Definately!" (I really learned something about little 3rd grade, Avory Jo! Gained WAY new respect for her. She's new to my class this yr and she's a doll) Several: "No way!" and 3: "I don't know" (at least they were thinking!! 1 of the 3 changed to a 'yes' after further discussion!)
You are having so many different and valuable types of impacts on my class. Thanks for that.
I love you........
*** Who's the 1st post from?
There's this quote by Salvador Dali that perfectly sums up how I think about the rocket: "I have an immeasurable taste for life." =]
But I'm glad that you think otherwise; if it weren't for you (and others like you), mankind would be stuck. And we're kind of screwed right now.
I hope I'll change one day, but till then, I guess I'm a chicken-baby, too. =]
love, and Happy Valentine's Day!!
Caroline
I dont' know that I'd ride the rocket, but I'd love to help build it! And help you in. And help you out on your return. And pack you freeze-dried ice cream. And then hug you when you touched Earth!
